Recruitment Process

MindField Group makes use of a detailed recruitment process for every vacancy that involves three key elements: people, process and technology.

Below is an overview of the process that MindField Group goes through to recruit for each position we work on:

1) Requisition Intake. Your Talent Acquisition Specialist conducts an in-depth 30 minute "job discovery" session.

2) Creative Job Description Development. MindField Group takes the information from the job discovery session and develops a creative job description.

3) Recruitment Advertising. MindField Group then takes the creative job description developed and posts to major job boards, trade associations, niche boards and other areas relevant to the position(s). This is done under client's brand to continue to develop the brand and provide greater search engine exposure.

4) Proactive Sourcing. Our expert Sourcing Specialists begin to proactively build a pipeline of candidates specific to your position(s), utilizing resume databases, online searches, name generation lists, and online social networks.

5) Candidate Pre-Screening. A set of pre-screening questions are developed and the candidate is prompted to answer these as the last stage of the application. The screening system has two major benefits - candidates are scored and ranked for faster selection, and any red flags about each candidate are identified and highlighted.

6) Candidate Phone Screening. Your Talent Acquisition Specialist interviews selected candidates over the phone using competency and behavioural based questions. Answers are documented and added to the candidate's profile.

7) Full Candidate Profiles sent to the Hiring Manager. Your Talent Acquisition Specialist sends top candidates for review to your hiring manager, and makes recommendation for in-person interviews.

8) Reference Checks. MindField Group assist with checking candidate references and submits responses to your hiring manager or HR department.

9) Offer Negotiation. Once you have selected the successful new candidate, your Talent Acquisition Specialist verbally extends the offer to the selected candidate to ensure acceptance and Client's Hiring Manager or HR extends a formal offer letter.
